In the Northern New Jersey Fall 2026 issue of Dining Out Jersey, Will Kubofcik (@TheCigarCritic) tells Metro's story in his Cigar Critic column, from the 13 men who first gathered at a restaurant in July 1994 to the clubhouse members built themselves in Fairfield.

The Metropolitan Society has been in existence for 25 years. Last year, 2019, we celebrated that milestone with a member’s only BBQ at the Lincoln Park Lake Center. The club provided food, entertainment, memorabilia, along with some games and cigars of course.
